Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) seeks to tackle the growing impact of illness associated with neurodegeneration, mental health and translational neuroscience. Given our ageing population, there is a growing need to research neurodegenerative conditions as over 350,000 Australians are living with dementia. NeuRA raised money from government, industry and philanthropy in 2024 to support our mission to discover treatments for neurodegenerative, mental health and age related conditions with a vision to transform the lives of those with brain and nerve disorders.
