Netzer AustraliaRegistered

Netzer is a Jewish Youth Organisation aimed at empowering youth to realise their Jewish identities. Our organisation has a strong focus on social justice and youth empowerment. Our volunteers run regular activities for participants in years 312. These activities have an educational focus on a wide range of topics from Judaism to different social justices causes, such as the environment. Our main activity is our camps, which provide for around 300 participants. We also facilitate opportunities for our volunteers to learn, grow, and upskill in their practical leadership skills through approximately 7 seminars in 2024 across the federal movement. Finally, we run monthly Kabbalat Shabbat services in an effort to promote Progressive spirituality and build community. Through our engagement in these various activities for both our participants and volunteers, Netzer has been able to provide an empowering space for young Jewish people to come together, learn about their identities, develop leadership skills, and create a community.
