Neonatal Kitten Rescue Hobart LTD

Our winter work focusses on prevention. We desexed 65 pet cats for people doing it tough through our Eco Cats program. 38 were female. This prevents up to 400 kittens being born in the following year Our summer work is rescuing neonates. We rescued 52 neonates including a puppy with a cleft palate. Poisoning was suspected with 3 litters. We treated 1 kitten for FIP. 8 kittens died or were euthanaised in care. Molly puppy had successful surgery to repair her cleft palate and was adopted by her foster family.
