NEGS is a school situated in Armidale NSW, that was established in 1895 in the Anglican tradition. NEGS provides education through a coeducational Prek to year 6 Junior school and a single sex Girls school from year 7 to 12. NEGS provides boarding opportunities to girls from year 5 to year 12. NEGS provides excellent educational opportunities through the employment of quality educators and the provision of excellent teaching resources and grounds. NEGS also provides unique opportunities for girls to excel through sport with the NEGS Women's Elite Sports Pathway program, including partnerships with Hockey NSW, Rugby NSW and Netball NSW. NEGS has become known as the school who provides an industry leading Equestrian programme for students, where they are able to enjoy the use of world class equestrian facilities on site. In 2023 NEGS continued the tradition of providing Scholarship and Bursaries to students from diverse backgrounds, who predominantly reside in isolated, remote and regional areas of Australia
