The National Young Writers' Festival Inc. produces the National Young Writers' Festival in Newcastle, NSW. The NYWF festival is a free, accessible and supportive event for all members of Australia's young and emerging writing communities, which fosters the development of literary excellence in NSW and Australia through creating of a peer reviewed and selfreflective festival program. In 2024, NYWF launched its inaugural NYWF Incubator Program a program dedicated to providing mentoring to young writers and journalists from remote and regional areas, and creating a pathway for their participation in the 2025 National Young Writers Festival.
