National Environmental Law Association Limited

The National Environmental Law Association Ltd (NELA) is Australia's premier environmental law organisation. It was established in 1982 with the goal of advancing Australian environmental law and promoting education on environmental law issues. NELA brings people together to discuss environmental policy and law through workshops, conferences, and other events, promotes education through the provision of bursaries and an annual essay competition, and advances environmental law by contributing to the discussion on proposals for law reform. NELA membership is open to anyone with an interest in environmental law and related disciplines.
