The NTI's offer courses that encourage students to think critically, courses that are relevant in today's society such as Applied Buddhist Studies, Health and Social Wellbeing and Mental Health. The curricula taught are one of its kind (contemplative pedagogy) to facilitate and foster students' awareness, selfreflection and and their impact on themselves and the environment. NTI's offers scholarships for Master's programs on Humanistic Buddhism and Applied Buddhist Studies and half scholarships on the other programs. The NTI staff also offers a weekly Community of Practice to connect with the community at large and to guide them to a holistic approach that nurtures one's compassion, creativity and problemsolving, to make the world a better place. The Institute not just advances knowledge and understanding but enables individuals to learn and participate constructively in the workforce by providing quality education that contributes to a democratic and equitable society.
