Musical Bridge - the Judith Curphey Foundation

We funded workshops to provide school music and performing arts teachers with high quality resources and strategies that would enable them to start or develop their school choirs. The project took the form of an initial workshop, followed by in situ visits to the schools to further support and address their specific needs of the developing programs. The teachers were supported and empowered to bring their newly developed skills and resources to their particular contexts at school, and provide an enriched musical and performing arts experience to their students that they would not have had access to otherwise. These teachers will continue to further apply their new skills and knowledge to reach more students in the years to come.
