Music in Exile Limited

In 2024, Music in Exile facilitated the creation, production, recording and performance of contemporary music by artists from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Australia. We facilitated access to resources for musicians from our first nations peoples and from asylum seeker, refugee or migrant background; We supported the public performance of music by such musicians, including the funding of such performances; We supported the attendance by such musicians at songwriting, mentoring and professional networking sessions in relation to the music industry; and we supported the marketing, distribution and release of music by such persons, to allow them to share their music with the broader community and to promote tolerance, awareness and mutual respect between different cultures in Australia.
