Mt Mee District Historical Society Inc

Training was organized for members on how to select an appropriate scanner for MMDHSI and how to use this scanner efficiently. For the community, presentations and displays were shown in conjunction with the annual Heritage Day. Working in with the Mt Mee School, the inaugural Mt Mee Heritage Bursary was presented to the P3 students who prepared historical displays on various topics. The students had to explain their display as part of the conditions of the bursary. Students were presented with a demonstration of separating milk, a task which was part of their childhood tasks. Writing on slates was another activity. Past and present residents have been interviewed to recall their memories of Mt Mee during their lifetime. These interviews have been recorded.
