About Monaro Rail Trail Incorporated

We provided assistance to the Snowy Monaro Regional Council and the Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council in the planning, advocacy and construction of the Monaro Rail Trail (MRT). This includes finding capital funding grants and assisting with grant preparation, making presentations to the councils to support the grant applications, explaining NSW legislative and policy changes to facilitate construction of the MRT and linked precinct cycle paths in towns and villages along the MRT, and engaging with stakeholders to the MRT.
