Mind Blank s vision is to pioneer the use of arts to build mental health skills. Our mission is to reduce the risk of suicide through creative, preventative approaches. We work towards this by using interactive theatre and guided forum discussions to break the stigma around mental health and encourage early helpseeking. Our programs create safe, inclusive spaces where participants are invited to engage in conversations around mental health and taboo subjects. Through live performances based on reallife scenarios, followed by facilitated discussions, we raise awareness in communities to recognise early warning signs, share lived experiences, and access support services before reaching crisis point. This approach aligns with our core values of Creativity, Commitment, Mindfulness, Integrity, and Community. By fostering open dialogue and promoting resilience through the arts, we help individuals build the knowledge and confidence to support themselves and others contributing directly to our goal of preventing suicide and supporting mental wellbeing across Australia.
