Merredin Museum and Historical Society Incorporated

The charity houses the railway memoriabilia for the local (Merredin) and wider (State of WA) communities. Our mission is to preserve, exhibit, collect and research moveable heritage items for the benefit of the people of the Shire of Merredin and Districts. Through interaction and education the Museum plays a crucial role in fostering interest and awareness of Railway History. We are open to the public 6/7 days per week; promote school visits; provide current information of interest via the local newspaper and contribute to the monthly publication of Rail Heritage WA's Newsletter. Provide opportunities and support for community members wishing to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
