About Mental Health Matters 2 LTD
We undertook a number of projects during the year which continued to provide a safe and nonjudgemental space for 'anyone who cares'. We supported individuals, family members and supporters with lived and living experience and expertise to provide a diversity of views to a range of committees and groups to influence planning, policy, research and decisionmaking. We developed and provided education, training and resources which help to improve the opportunities for people with lived experience to meaningfully become part of Lived Experience (Peer) Workforces in which they contribute to inclusion and stigma reduction. Some of our education and training was also aimed at improving understanding of the roles and contributions of people with lived experience and building a contemporary understanding of the role of Lived Experience (Peer) Workforces. We also participated in and coled research projects focused on understanding and improving the contribution of people with lived experience to research on mental health, AOD and justice systems and services.
