Melbourne Maritime Heritage Network LTD

We advocated and made submissions to government departments and relevant agencies on matters relation to and impacting upon the promotion and preservation of the maritime heritage in Melbourne and regional Victoria. We held free monthly public events on maritime matters to raise awareness and to educate the public and the government about maritime trade past, present and future. We also produced a monthly publication to disseminate information of matters of importance to maritime stakeholders and enthusiasts as well as a monthly column on maritime heritage matters for Docklands Newspaper. In addition, we proactively engaged with relevant organisations around Australia and overseas.
