About Masonic Foundation
The inception of the benevolent operations of the Masonic Foundation was under the Grand Lodge of Freemasonary in 1906. The benevolent fund was applied to the relief of aged members, widows and orphans. This later evolved into establishing a benevolent Trust. The objects of the Constitution and Trust Deed reflect the beneficiaries as not only Freemasons but all those in necessitous circumstances who are living in the general community in Australia. Support is given through direct support, education study grants and to other charities for specific projects that help people in need.
