Malabar Parents and Citizens AssocRegistered

Malabar Public School Parents and Citizens Association supports the school community by fundraising to provide facilities and equipment for the school which enhance the teaching environment and learning opportunities. The Association also runs other social events from time to time to foster the school's sense of community. The association had various successful fundraising and community events in the 2024 Financial Year. They were also fortunate enough to apply for and receive a significant grant donation, as well as continuing to operate the school uniform shop throughout the year. Our main fundraising events of 2024 were the Mother s Day breakfast, Father s Day breakfast, Halloween Disco, Tea Towel fundraiser, Malabar s Got Talent and a Bunning s BBQ. This all allowed us to continue to support the school by providing numerous donations including classroom equipment and resources, partly funding a gardening and cooking teacher, an aboriginal dance programme for all students, a sex education programme, a colour run and a school drum kit.
