Our charity's purpose it to promote, celebrate and perform the art of opera, bringing it to new audiences, primarily regional, at an affordable price. Lyster Opera achieved this goal in 2024 by touring two new productions, Flotow's Martha and Rossini's The Italian Girl in Algiers which were well attended in regional areas. Martha was given a brief revival at the end of the year due to popular demand. In 2024, Lyster gave audiences who are generally not catered to access to professional opera.
