Love Mercy added 1,500 new women to the Cents for Seeds program, empowering them with seed loans, agricultural skills and knowledge and a farming tool. 52 new Village Savings and Loans groups of between 30 40 women began to support management of income and provide financial literacy training with the goal of economic independence. 21 Income Generating Groups began with graduates of Cents for Seeds to further build on food security and economic empowerment. We furthered our climate resilience program, implementing 1 irrigation pilot program among a graduate group of C4S and is managed by the VSLA group; 2 Rainwater Harvesting systems installed in community central points for maximum access and 1 solar powered bore system installed in a central village point. The clinic team at Kristina Health Centre assisted in the delivery of 186 babies on site, and provided health education and support to thousands of rural patients. The clinic saw 8,600 patients treated on site.
