We supported artists with disability to develop as artists and as professionals, by: a. providing opportunities and spaces in which artists can work, perform and present their art to the public b. facilitating artists access to professional development opportunities and paid work offered by others c. arranging and supporting artist mentoring and networking opportunities d. supporting the production of artist led projects within mainstream arts organisations and festivals We improved opportunities for artists with disability within the arts industries by: a. promoting strategies and guidelines for improving access and inclusion b. increasing awareness about inequality c. increasing the visibility of and respect for artists with disability. d. supporting artists to secure grants and assemble creative teams for their own projects
