Little Helpers on the Run: Empowering Young Changemakers Little Helpers on the Run is the world s only childrenled organization where young people take charge of endtoend operations, fostering leadership, kindness, and responsibility. Our mission is to empower children and young people to create a kinder, more connected world through innovative programs that go beyond traditional charity. Unlike a relief organization, our focus is not just on providing support but on engaging children in meaningful acts of kindness that develop empathy, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to giving back. Together, we can make the world a special place! Key Areas of Impact: Empowering Young Changemakers Our projects engage students in acts of kindness by supporting special needs and disadvantaged children, uplifting the elderly in the community and nursing homes through intergenerational programs, and bringing joy to children in hospitals. We extend support to single mothers, individuals experiencing homelessness, and school families in need. We also recognize and appreciate the contributions of community helpers, including doctors, nurses, midwives, teachers, paramedics, firefighters, police officers, and community leaders. Through disaster relief projects, we teach children empathy and the importance of helping those in crisis. Our initiatives include innovative programs that connect Australia to other countries, fostering global kindness and creating opportunities for cultural exchange and collaboration. Education & Skill Development Through volunteering, work placements, and mentoring, we help school, RTO, and university students, as well as those completing Centrelink work hours, gain valuable experience while making a real difference. Make Me a Genius Program This initiative engages students from both low and high socioeconomic schools, offering leadership opportunities and tailored support while teaching kindness through action. Global Reach, Local Impact With over 1,500 partner organizations across seven countries, we have launched thousands of impactful projects, building a global network of young leaders and volunteers. At its core, Little Helpers on the Run nurtures a culture of kindness and social responsibility, ensuring that every child involved not only receives support but also learns to be a giver making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.
