Linkwest is a trusted peak association with the purpose of amplifying the voices of our placebased members for the benefit of their communities. Linkwest achieves its overall mission and main aims through these core programs: Sector Capacity Building Delivery and facilitation of training and development activities, including development and provision of resources on governance, finances and human resource management, and tools to support an assetbased approach to community development. Policy and Advocacy Development and promotion of policy and position papers to champion the role of placebased and community led organisations. Leaderships of systemic advocacy to prioritise government and philanthropic funding for the benefit of member organisations and their communities. Social connection and community participation Work with other organisations and funders to deliver programs and initiatives that enable and encourage active and engaged communities. These include initiatives related to digital literacy, care and support for older Australians and health promotion.
