About Link Wentworth Housing Limited
Link Wentworth (LW) Housing provides safe and secure social, affordable and disability housing options for eligible people on very low, low and medium incomes. We are a registered NDIS accommodation provider of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). We manage 55 group homes and 21 SDA properties which provide housing to 208 people living with a disability in Ryde, North Sydney and the Northern Beaches of Sydney. We facilitate support to persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by working with them and supporting them to find and secure a home using a strengthsbased case management approach. We collaborate with sector partners to deliver homelessness case coordination services and assertive outreach services. We work and partner with other service providers, government and community organisations and local businesses to empower clients and tenants, linking them with the support they need to manage and navigate complex challenges they may be facing in their lives. Recognising the intersectionality of family and domestic violence and understanding that certain groups face heightened vulnerability and increased risk of exposure, we are committed to supporting such vulnerable communities by providing a safe space to rebuild their lives and recover from the impact of this pervasive issue. LW supports tenants longterm wellbeing by: facilitating programs that help build a sense of belonging, connection to community and increase health and wellbeing outcomes and support them to reach their potential (e.g. Digi Connect, Yarn Up, Live Well Be Well, Meet Your Neighbour Days, Stepping on Health Ageing Program) providing opportunities for tenants to get to know each other, get involved in their community and reduce social isolation (e.g. community gardening, art classes and exhibitions, dropin sessions and localised community engagement etc) referring tenants to our team of dedicated Tenancy Sustainment Specialists. Our Specialists coordinate and link tenants with appropriate supports, identifying and codesigning goals that enable them to sustain their tenancies and increase their health and wellbeing. building new and nurturing existing partnerships to enable us to meet the needs of our tenants and reach more people in the communities we serve. empowering tenants to have their say and drive decisionmaking on tenantrelated issues and service delivery by joining our Tenant Advisory Group, engaging in our Tenant Policy, Editorial and Service Improvement Committees, attending block meetings or providing feedback on our services through multiple postservice feedback loops. delivering an annual Scholarship program to increase education and skills, while providing training and employment opportunities to lifelong learners. Providing easytounderstand documents and resources to support people in housing stress.
