* Intervened early to prevent homelessness by promoting awareness of the causes of homelessness through our outreach case management service. A youth Outreach worker worked with the young women referred through schools, DCJ and other agencies. * Provided a mediumterm response by providing safe, secure mediumterm accommodation, therapeutic case management and support to mitigate the impact of the crisis that led to homelessness. Provided support to remain engaged and complete high school or equivalent qualifications. Worked with the young women toward exiting mediumterm and transitional housing into safe and affordable longterm housing and providing specialised postcrisis support as required to help them remain stable and housed. * Worked towards raising community awareness of the issues relating to the homelessness of the young women, which include sexual assault, family violence, and addiction and fostered the development of related support services and projects aimed at prevention.
