Our charity s work directly supported our overall mission of improving the quality of life, independence, inclusion and wellbeing of people living with disability. Through the provision of personcentred disability care and support services, we assisted individuals to achieve greater independence, participate more fully in their communities, and pursue their personal goals and aspirations. Our services included practical assistance with daily living, personal care, community participation, social engagement and support to develop and maintain individual skills. We worked closely with each person, their families, carers and other relevant professionals to ensure that support was tailored to their individual needs, preferences and circumstances. By providing reliable, respectful and compassionate care, our charity helped people with disability exercise greater choice and control over their lives. Our support also reduced barriers to community participation, strengthened social connections and enabled individuals to engage in activities such as employment, education, recreation and community events where appropriate. Overall, our work contributed to our main aims by promoting dignity, independence, inclusion and equal opportunity. We focused not only on meeting immediate support needs, but also on empowering people with disability to build confidence, develop their capabilities and participate meaningfully in their communities.
