We provided communitybased rehabilitation services for people experiencing substance use disorder and those in recovery who were at risk of relapse. We provided rehabilitation programs based on Contingency Management principles that offered participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful and rewarding recreational activities that provide social support, build practical skills and provide a sense of purpose and achievement. Our rehabilitation activities program included woodwork, metal work, fishing, arts and crafts, cooking and Zumba. We partnered with other social support services to offer a complete recovery plan solution for our clients including cognitive behavioural therapy recovery groups such as SMART. We offered ancillary recovery services such as support for our clients facing court, support, and guidance for our clients seeking referrals for psychological therapy, and connecting our clients with lifestyle support services, including free food services within the local community. We treated everyone with dignity and respect and ensured our services were provided without discrimination.
