About Kurbingui Youth Development Limited
Kurbingui delivers a range of programs and services aimed at improving the lives of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. These programs and services contribute to the cultural, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal and Tores Strait Islander people with a strong focus on addressing isolation, social emotional wellbeing, poverty, discrimination. Services are provided that specifically focus on issues related to children, young people, their families and individuals pertaining to child protection, youth justice, mental health, education and unemployment through the provision of case management, therapeutic support, outreach engagement, community development, education, training, community events and activities. Kurbingui partners with the three levels of government, other notforprofit organisations, agencies, Elders and community members. Our staff members undertake their duties as a collaborative team working to the organisation s policies, procedures, relevant legislation and professional practice standards. Our teams are flexible, multiskilled and work effectively and sensitively with a diverse range of individuals, multidisciplinary groups and community agencies to ensure high quality and culturally safe services for our community members.
