About Koala Conservation Australia Ltd.
KCA encompasses a diverse range of activities all aimed at supporting the conservation of Australia's wild koala population. It operates a Koala Hospital for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick and injured koalas and for those that can't be released, ongoing care and management. Key programs include the conservation of koala habitat, the education of visitors, the community and students about all aspects of koalas and a world first wild koala breeding conservation program. As a notforprofit organisation operating without government funding, it is essential for us to maintain reserves to support our strategic initiatives over the next one to three years, estimated at approximately $5,700,000, as well as to cover ongoing operational expenses for the next three years, which are projected to be around $10,500,000.
