KCA was established under the spiritual patronage and guidance of His Holiness Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche and managed by Executive Committee. In 2024, after establishing the first physical centre near Canberra, the KCA Executive Committee approved the formation of the Carwoola Centre Management Committee (CCMC) to oversee its operations. Major achievements by KCA since its establishment are: Organised major spiritual events (teachings, spiritual empowerments and rituals) across Australia, coinciding with visits by Rinpoche in 2016, 2018, 2022, 2024. Organised several fundraising activities (major and minor) including the biggest Guru DewaChenpo project, which raised over a million dollars for KCA. Established the first physical KCA centre in a 40acre property at Carwoola, NSW, in 2024 and undertook significant renovations before official inauguration by Rinpoche in December 2024. The new Carwoola KCA centre perfectly hosted the tenday Drubchen, an highly elaborate major spiritual event involving over 20 monks and presided by Rinpoche and attended by thousands of Buddhist followers across Australia. The inauguration of physical centre in Brisbane in January 2025. Community support services and contributions to multiculturalism, including financial assistance to community members in need and collaboration with other religious and cultural organizations. KCA has also been actively involved in supporting and organising community events, such as the celebration of Bhutanese Losar (New Year), Bhutan s National Day, and other traditional Bhutanese festivals in collaboration with community leaders and other established religious organisations. KCA also promoted intrafaith exchanges by hosting several eminent masters from other Buddhist traditions.
