KRS offers a client centred treatment program that may be completed in either a residential or nonresidential basis. The service provides a Cognitive Behavioural Treatment (CBT) approach that is suitable for problems with alcohol, all substances of abuse, and is also effective in working with clients that experience cooccurring mental health disorders. Other modalities have been included to further meet client needs (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt, PersonCentred) and following a review of the program structure incorporates a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) component. The KRS program is evidence based and is delivered in number of different ways that are flexible to the needs of clients. These include, but not limited to: Residential Treatment Nonresidential Treatment/ Day Program Treatment Psychoeducational Group Work Individual Counselling Outpatient Counselling i.e., Outpatient counselling whilst on the waiting list or Continued Care counselling following program delivery Family Engagement Case Management SMART Recovery Education and Information Sessions including, but not limited to: Legal, Financial and Gambling counselling, First Aid Training Living Skills Training Recreational
