As the only organisation in Australia solely dedicated to advancing Kawasaki Disease matters, our programs helped to support people directly impacted by Kawasaki disease including those diagnosed, their parents,carers and families. Our virtual support network fostered connection between those directly impacted and provided much needed support to navigate challenges and address the many questions that arise. This helped minimise isolation. Our social media platforms and annual awareness campaign provided Kawasaki Disease education and knowledge to the Australian community and beyond. We continued collaboration and networking with international organisations to support the 14th International Kawasaki Disease Symposium. We also continued to liaise with medical advisors and explored opportunities that support research as well as spread awareness.
