The KSP Foundation Management Board ran affordable workshops, residency and fellowship programs, author talks, 11 writing groups, weekly interm classes for after school students and homeschooled youth and several openday events to promote the craft of writing. Workshops and classes were on a variety of topics and addressed interests for all genders, age groups and writing levels. These events also enabled socialising opportunities for likeminded members of the public. KSP provided employment and volunteering opportunities, and offered free guided tours of the historic property. KSP also maintained the heritagelisted buildings and gardens, provided mentorships and a free book launch venue to its members and writing groups, and through the monthly newsletter and social media channels provided information on worldwide competitions and publishing opportunities, as well as other local events.
