We have organised several community events over the year. These events, some hosted independently and others in collaboration with community partners, have allowed us to cultivate strong relationships, gain insights into diverse cultures, and create inclusive spaces for genuine connection and learning. Our events have consistently aimed to provide a warm and familiar environment, particularly for migrant community members. Understanding the challenges of adjusting to a new place, we have prioritized creating spaces that foster comfort, connection, and the formation of supportive networks. Our three Meena Bazaars hold significant importance in our journey. They provided migrant women with opportunities to earn additional income, thereby enhancing their confidence and sense of independence. We take pride in how these events have contributed to the financial empowerment of women in our community.
