TKHA raised Australian community awareness and support of the child health promotion programs of The Kafika House Tanzania, including the: Treatment of surgically correctable disabilities such as Cleft Palate and Club foot; Rehabilitation programme for identified conditions including therapy and equipment; Village and Community education to promote knowledge of the treatable aspect of conditions and early intervention; Outreach clinic and caseworker education to increase the throughput of patients at The Kafika House Tanzania; Internal education sessions on all aspects of healthcare and care for people with disabilities.
