Throughout 2024, JamFactory continued to champion the social, cultural and economic value of craft and design in daily life. JamFactory delivered a range of programs to inspire audiences, build careers, and extend contemporary craft and design into new markets. Over the year we have worked to support and promote innovative and outstanding craft and design through our studios, galleries and shops. In our Adelaide CBD facility, JamFactory s four studios in Ceramics, Glass, Furniture, and Jewellery and Metal provide a two year skills and business Associate Program for artists and designers, as well as independent studio spaces for some of Australia s best emerging creative talent. The exhibition and retail spaces showcase contemporary Australian craft practice and offer a wide range of high quality and collectable craft and design. We also work with like minded organisations, architects and designers to design and manufacture bespoke elements for specialty commissions and projects. Our Seppeltsfield site in the Barossa is a creative hub for contemporary craft and design in the Barossa, with a unique regional focus. Housed in the estate s architecturally restored historic horse stables, JamFactory at Seppeltsfield provides an exhibition space, shop and studio spaces for local artisans, from knife making, ceramics, and millinery, to glass and leather. JamFactory s shops, exhibitions, public programs and touring exhibitions promote the best Australian craft and design talent. In addition to the two venues, JamFactory's high calibre exhibitions also tour, and in 2024 we presented 4 touring exhibitions in 14 galleries nationally.
