J & D'S Farm Sanctuary LTD

We have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed farm and other animals who were subject to neglect, abuse or abandonment. We have offered direct support to animals who have needed medical intervention to survive, such as surgery for broken limbs, wound care, convalescence in old age, medication, wheelchairs, splinting and physiotherapy for animals who have been unable to walk unaided. We have been caring for over 200 animals with provision of food, shelter, enrichment and treatment when needed. We have successfully rehomed over over 80 animals including cats, goats, sheep, and pigs. We have supported wild cats to be vaccinated and desexed. We have provided opportunities for volunteers in the community to be engaged and assist with the care of the animals, and are now providing the opportunity for people with a disability and other members of the local community to engage with the animals to help with life goals and mental health. We have worked hard to provide education around animal welfare and advocacy for the animals through our social media and website.
