We deployed Australia's traditional Indigenous approach to savanna burning, which leads to the reduction of wildfire greenhouse gas emissions by as much as half, and significant further mitigation of emissions through carbon sequestration over the long term. Traditional Indigenous fire management also has significant potential to deliver other cobenefits including improved food security and sustainable agricultural practice. We continue delivering projects in which we share Australia's expertise on savanna fire management as an emissions offset method.
