Ipswich District Teacher-Librarian Network IncRegistered

We produced a teacher resource to support teachers in celebrating Children's Book Week. We ran the free StoryArts Festival Ipswich catering for over 6000 children including Science Week authors in schools. We sponsored over 20 buses to help schools send children to the festival. We ran the StoryArts Festival Ipswich Conference providing adult education. We provided author tours to schools. We worked in partnership with Ipswich Libraries to run a StorySports competition for primary school students. We supported the CBCA Qld Readers Cup Competition. We continued to provide professional development for members at our meetings.
