Charity main activity: Civic and advocacy activities. Other main activities: Culture and arts. We promote freedom of expression and the human rights of writers both in Australia and internationally by advocating for their safety and freedom in circumstances where they are imprisoned, persecuted and harassed. This is achieved in collaboration with PEN International and with members who write letters directly to governments.
