The International Humanitarian Provision Care Inc. (IHPC) consistently fulfills its mission and objectives often exceeding expectations by delivering impactful humanitarian services both locally and internationally. One of our most significant international outreach efforts is our continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Burundi, East Africa. As part of this initiative, IHPC has regularly sent its leaders and volunteers to Burundi to engage in handson humanitarian work, particularly in rural and underserved areas. These efforts aim to strengthen local capacities, provide essential services, and promote longterm sustainable development. During our most recent mission to Burundi July 2024, IHPC conducted a series of communitybased activities and training programs. We worked closely with Cup of Cool Water, and its members to deliver training on community leadership, health and wellbeing, and strategies for selfreliance. A key highlight of our mission was providing targeted training for Batwa Indigenous Youth, focusing on sustainable development practices, environmental stewardship, and personal and community wellbeing. In addition to training, IHPC provided direct humanitarian aid to various vulnerable groups. Through these efforts, IHPC continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to uplifting marginalized populations, promoting equity, and fostering hope for a better future across borders. Humanitarian Provision Care Inc. (IHPC) has played a vital role in supporting local community leaders and volunteers, particularly those from refugee and migrant backgrounds, by creating meaningful pathways toward employment and social integration within Australian society. One of IHPC s key strategies has been to build strong partnerships between these community members and the local business sector. Through these connections, individuals have been able to access employment opportunities, enhance their job readiness, and develop essential workplace skills. IHPC has facilitated both volunteer placements and paid employment, enabling participants to gain practical experience, build confidence, and establish professional networks. The International Humanitarian Provision Care Inc. (IHPC) has played an instrumental role in fostering unity and inclusivity by bringing together people from diverse cultural backgrounds during its Annual General Meeting, held in October. This important event serves as a platform for social interaction, health and wellbeing promotion, and the celebration of cultural harmony within the broader community. A significant highlight of the 2024 Annual General Meeting was the presence of Her Excellency Imelde Sabushimike, the Minister of National Solidarity, Human Rights, Social Affairs, and Gender from the Republic of Burundi. Minister Sabushimike, herself a member of the historically marginalized Batwa Indigenous community. IHPC remains committed to creating inclusive spaces that uplift marginalized voices.
