We provided support and other services to community members that are experiencing hardship and are sleeping rough, our target group can often feel socially isolated and a sense of not feeling like a welcomed member of the community. This can add to creating a cycle of broken patterns, poor choices and dissocial behaviour. when we create a safe space and a welcoming environment that will have different, ages, sexes, race and cultural backgrounds where they do come together, we witness participants walking away feeling a sense of belonging, being visible and acknowledged as a community member of Brimbank.
