Inner City Strays

The committee, and our amazing volunteers, undertook a range of activities, applied for grants, and fundraised to be able to keep Inner City Strays viable, functioning and able to meet its objectives and purpose. In the 2023/2024 financial year. Inner City Strays rescued, fostered and adopted out stray cats and kittens. Inner City Strays also covered costs for desexing, medical bills and foster associated expenses for rescued kittens/cats which were later adopted. Inner City Strays is also an official NSW State Government rehoming organisation allowing it to take kittens and cats from Pounds to alleviate the pressure on them. Inner City Stays also acts as a satellite shelter for the City of Sydney Council for cats/kittens found in their LGA. Information was also provided to the community in regards to responsible cat ownership.
