IRN continued to progress a shared vision for an environmentally sustainable Murray Darling Basin. We have participated in many meetings organised by the Murray Darling Basin Authority and by the NSW Dept. of Planning and EnvironmentWater Division regarding implementation of the Basin Plan. Our most recent focus has been on replacement Water Sharing Plans, improved protection and water delivery to wetlands and improved connectivity between NSW Basin rivers. We continue to advocate for healthy rivers through the media and engagement with regional communities and have launched a regular newsletter to increase outreach.
