Impound Feline Rescue Inc

Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless cats in the community, to support our community to care for happy and healthy cats, and to contribute towards protecting native wildlife. During 2024 we took in 49 new cats and kittens, in addition to the 27 we still had in care from the previous two years. We continued in 2024 to assist local pounds, vet clinics, and occasionally families who needed to surrender their cats due to ongoing financial constraints. We also ventured into the realm of assisting community members to get their owned cats desexed, microchipped and vaccinated at no cost, assisted by the Animal Welfare Grant we were again fortunate to receive in 2024. We sourced donations of cat food and litter to support our carers financially.
