As an educational institution, the College provided educational services to more than 1141 students last financial year. The College carries out its activities in accordance with its mission statement: Immanuel College actively strives to provide an education in a Christian context where the whole person can grow and develop. Its curricular and cocurricular programs offer students the opportunity for spiritual and moral growth, service and social involvement, excellence in academics, the arts and worthwhile physical activities, to prepare them for their individual vocations and a Christian life. Last year the College continued to provide a broad academic program including substantial choice in subjects and vocational pathways as well as an extensive extra curricular program. It is a warm, caring community that fosters a sense of belonging and builds relationships, with a strong commitment to pastoral care for its students. The College is proactive in pursuing opportunities for students through advancements in teaching practice and technology. Last year, several innovations were made in teaching and learning practices to enhance our students educational experiences; to improve their academic achievement; and to prepare them for the careers of future. Partnerships were established with government and corporate partners to introduce state of the art infrastructure, applications and systems to support innovation in teaching and learning.
