We have made significant steps in advancing our charity's core mission of empowering disadvantaged individuals and helping them build meaningful careers. By providing targeted support and skillbuilding opportunities, we have enabled our staff to achieve important milestones that open new doors. We facilitated driving lessons that allowed seven employees to successfully obtain their driver's licenses a critical step in expanding their job prospects and independence. Additionally, we are currently supporting six employees in completing their Certificate III in Horticulture, equipping them with valuable expertise for careers in landscaping, parks, nurseries and more. Additionally, a further eight employees are completing their Certificate II in Construction Pathways, gaining handson training and industryrecognised qualifications to launch careers in the growing construction field. Beyond skill building, we remain committed to providing steady employment, professional development, and pathways to higher level career opportunities for local and disadvantaged youth who face barriers to entering the workforce. Our charity also recognises the unique challenges faced by those transitioning out of military, emergency services, and mining careers. To support these individuals, we have implemented a comprehensive transition to retirement program. Through this initiative, we provide the support, resources and opportunities they need to successfully reenter the workforce, build a renewed sense of selfesteem and selfworth, and secure a stable income as they adapt to this new chapter. By tailoring our programs to the specific needs of the individuals we employ, our charity continues to make a profound impact in the lives of those who need it most, helping them develop the tools and confidence to build brighter futures.
