Raising Awareness and Education Through initiatives like our monthly Information and Support Newsletter, the annual May Awareness Campaign, and a variety of community engagement activities, we continue to provide accessible, evidencebased information and reach new audiences. Strengthening Community Connections Our Annual Community Conference brings together individuals, families, researchers, and health professionals to share knowledge and lived experiences. Events such as the Family Fun Day at Luna Park and the In Memoriam Gathering foster connection, celebration, and remembrance. Expanding Collaboration and Peer Support The Huntington s Community Connect (HCC) Forum offers a dynamic online platform for peer connection, education, and research engagement. It empowers people with lived experience to share their stories, support one another, and connect directly with experts and service providers. Providing PersonCentred Support Our Information, Education, and NDIS Support Coordination programs continue to guide individuals and families navigating the challenges of Huntington s disease. Digital service delivery has expanded, ensuring timely, tailored support is available to all, regardless of location. Promoting Health and Wellbeing Initiatives like Move 4 HD celebrate strength and movement, encouraging physical, mental, and social activity while raising awareness and supporting the Huntington s community. Our bimonthly series, Beyond the Lab An Interview Series, connects the community with leading researchers, from around the world sharing discoveries, innovations, and personal stories to inspire, inform, and bring hope to families affected by Huntington s disease.
