Hunter Region Independent Schools is an association of nonGovernment schools that provide opportunities for the development in students of members' schools of qualities of selfreliance, leadership, tolerance and respect for the rights of others. It provides sporting and cultural opportunities for children and enables pathways to higher representative levels. During 2024 the association arranged activities and programs, which nurtured the development of students in their academic performance, as well as in a range of cocurricular pursuits including spoken word, sport and environmental awareness. The Association provided a number of network groups for the benefit of staff in schools and the overall improvement of education in regional NSW.
