The Humpty Dumpty Foundation helps hospitals and health services care for children by providing essential and often lifesaving medical equipment and initiatives that improve health outcomes. 3. Humpty bridges the gap between the finite health budgets and unmet paediatric medical equipment needs of hospitals and health services Australiawide. 4. Humpty empowers healthcare workers by working with health services to improve the capacity and capability of hospitals and healthcare workers to manage serious and lifethreatening medical emergencies through a combined approach of medical equipment and health initiatives. 5. Humpty keeps families together by helping children recover close to home. The right equipment, in the right place, at the right time, can mean a child receives care close to home instead of transferring to a larger facility. 6. Humpty also provides support and funding for special projects including the paediatric fellowships (for graduate doctor training), weekly visits by the Clown Doctors at various hospitals throughout Australia, and the establishment of The Humpty Dumpty Paediatric Gait Analysis Laboratory at The Children s Hospital at Westmead. Additional projects include the Menzies School of Rural Research Rheumatic Heart Disease project in the Northern Territory and the Australianfirst study on the impact of reducing alarm noise in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Monash Health, Victoria. 7.
