About Humanitarian Projects International Inc.
1. Philippines: The Shepherd's Arms Children's Home has endured a tough 12 months, with natural disasters having an impact on the children s home with damage to buildings and some of the sustainability projects, such as crops and animals. Much of this has been repaired, with life returning to some sense of normalcy. Gardens have been harvested and new crops planted. A bakery has been established, with bread now being sold or provided as part of a community outreach program. During the year, the children and staff continued with packing and distribution of food parcels to needy families in the local community. 2. Uganda: Construction of the shower blocks, toilets, and dormitories at the Nyarutooma Primary School at Kashekuro, was completed during the year, including the supply of bunk beds, mattresses, and blankets, HPI has embarked on the construction of a new kitchen block for the school, especially now that there are 90+ children needing to be fed each day. The building works have commenced and we are hoping to have it completed by the start of the 2023 school year. 3. South Africa: Development of community development in underprivileged communities in South Africa
